Zairus Master Set To Step Down As Chief Business Officer Of Honasa Consumer

Zairus Master, Chief Business Officer of Honasa Consumer, has resigned effective February 28, 2025, amid challenges for the parent company of brands like Mamaearth and The Derma Co.

Master joined Honasa in 2021 and was instrumental in the firm’s omni-channel strategy. His exit comes as Honasa faces growth challenges, including the slowing performance of its flagship brand, Mamaearth, due to changes in its distribution model. Honasa recently reported a quarterly loss of Rs 19 crore, prompting measures like Project Neev to restructure its supply chain and focus on R&D. The company has engaged Bain & Company to guide its revival efforts, with plans to strengthen its portfolio and boost other brands like The Derma Co. and BBlunt.
