Yes Bank Removes Country Head Financial Markets Amit Sureka

Amit Sureka, Country Head Financial Markets, ceases to be the part of senior management of Yes Bank Limited and has been relieved from the services of the bank on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. The bank did not provide reasons for his removal but confirmed that he will no longer be part of the bank or its senior management from the said date.

Amit Sureka is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). In 2005 he joined Yes Bank, starting in its financial markets division, and in October 2016 he was promoted to Group President. He had served as the head of Treasury for the past four years. Prior to joining Yes Bank, he worked with ICICI Bank for three years.
