VrindaSarup appointed Independent Director of SIS Group

SIS Group has announced the appointment of VrindaSarup as an Additional Director in the category of Independent Director of the Company for a two-year term beginning June 20, 2023, subject to shareholder approval, according to an exchange filing.VrindaSarup is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer with over 35 years of administrative experience. Throughout her distinguished career, she held a number of important roles in the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh. She was the Union Secretary for School Education and Literacy in the Government of India, as well as the Secretary for Food and Public Distribution. Sarup graduated from Delhi University with a Master’s degree in history and joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1987.
