Virendrasingh Bisht Joins Raymond Realty As Independent Director

Virendrasingh Bisht has been appointed as an Independent Director (Additional Director) of Raymond Realty Limited with effect from October 28, 2025, subject to the approval of the shareholders.

Bisht became an advocate in 1985 and practiced civil and criminal law at the District and Sessions Court in Nagpur before joining the Maharashtra Judicial Service as a Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate. He has served as Registrar (Judicial) and Registrar (F&B) at the Bombay High Court and later as Principal District and Sessions Judge in Gulshana, Sangli, Thane, and Mumbai. Elevated as a Judge of the Bombay High Court in December 2019, he retired in 2022 and subsequently served as Judicial Member and HOD of NCLT Mumbai until July 2025. Bisht is a science graduate from Nagpur University and holds an LLB degree and a master’s in industrial relations and personnel management, both with distinction.
