
Vinod Jain Steps Down As CFO Of Diamond Power And Infrastructure
Diamond Power and Infrastructure Limited announced that its Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Whole-Time Director, and Chief Risk Officer, Vinod Jain, has resigned, citing unavoidable circumstances, effective May 27, 2025.
The company has appointed Samir Naik, General Manager of Corporate Finance, as Interim CFO effective May 28, 2025. He will serve in the role until a new CFO is appointed.
Jain is a finance professional with experience across fundraising, restructuring, and global operations. At GGEPIL, he raised Rs 750 crore and prepared the company for an IPO. He currently leads operational streamlining at Diamond Power Infrastructure. At Cadila, he managed demergers & acquisitions and raised funds, including over Rs 2,500 crore domestically and USD 100 million internationally. At Vaibhav Global, he secured USD 140 million through GDR and private placements. His projects include industrial and municipal infrastructure, hospitals, and pharmaceutical facilities in India, the U.S., and Ethiopia. Jain has worked on business transformation with firms like PwC and KPMG.
