Vinit Jindal Succeeds Simon Britsch As Executive Director & CFO Of Bayer CropScience

Vinit Rajesh Jindal has been appointed as the Whole-Time Director (Additional Director) designated as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Bayer CropScience Limited with effect from March 01, 2025, subject to the approval of shareholders and Central Government, if required.

Jindal has replaced Simon Johannes Britsch, who is set to step down with effect from February 28, 2025, due to his planned repatriation to Bayer AG.

Jana Marlen Ackermann has been appointed as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director (Additional Director) of the company with effect from March 01, 2025, subject to the approval of shareholders.

Ackermann has replaced Dr. Miriam Holstien, who is set to step down from the same position with effect from February 28, 2025, due to the cessation of her active employment with Bayer AG.

Priya D’Cruz has been designated as Cluster HR Lead (South Asia) as the Senior Management Personnel (SMP) of the company with effect from February 12, 2025.

Vinit Jindal began his career at Bayer in Germany as an International Controlling Trainee. Soon he became Head of Accounting for Bayer CropScience India and later worked in Bayer HealthCare Germany’s global finance team. He also led the India strategy function, handling divestments, acquisitions, and transformation initiatives. Jindal has held leadership roles as Group CFO for Bayer Southern Africa, Managing Director and CFO for Bayer in the Philippines, and Group CFO for the UK & Ireland cluster since 2021. He is a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant. He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Mumbai University.

Jana Marlen Ackermann has been with Bayer since 2004, holding roles in internal audit, strategy, procurement, finance, and business development. She began her career at Bayer’s headquarters in Germany as an Internal Auditor and later took on various leadership responsibilities. From 2020 to 2022, she headed the Investor Relations Corporate and Consumer Health Team. In 2022, she moved to Brazil as CFO for the Bayer Group in the country. Since September 2024, she has been leading CropScience Finance for Asia. Ackermann studied business administration in Germany and Spain and also pursued political science. She holds an MBA and a bachelor of arts in political science.

Priya D’Cruz joined Bayer in 1995 and has held various HR roles across pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and technology. She has worked in organisational development, transformation, and talent management, supporting leadership teams through business transitions. Before her current role, she led the HR Partnering team for CropScience and served as Head of DE&I for South Asia since 2019, shaping inclusive policies and talent programs. She has held regional and global HR roles, including Regional HR Head for CropScience APAC2 and HR Partner for material science and IT. She holds an MBA from the Indo-German Training Centre, a BA in economics from Mumbai University, and certifications in change management and coaching.
