Vinayak Chatterjee Retires As Independent Director of Apollo Hospitals
Vinayak Chatterjee, completed his second term as an Independent Director of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited on March 31, 2024.
Vinayak Chatterjee is the founder and managing trustee of The Infravision Foundation. He co-founded Feedback Infra in 1990, and he served as its chairman until 2021.
He has advised leading domestic and international corporations, the Government of India, various ministries dealing with infrastructure, as well as multilateral and bilateral institutions. He is an advocate for the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model in India’s infrastructure development.
He has been recognised by the World Economic Forum, which named him one of the 100 Global Leaders of Tomorrow in 1998. The Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, honored him with the “Distinguished Alumnus Award” in 2011.
Vinayak Chatterjee serves on the boards of ACC, KEC International, and L&T Infotech, in addition to being a member of the advisory board of JCB India. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Technology, and serves on the boards of the Indian Institute of Management, and the National Rail and Transportation Institute.
He contributes a monthly column on infrastructure to Business Standard titled ‘INFRATALK’ and authored the book “Getting It Right – India’s Unfolding Infrastructure Agenda” in 2011.
He completed graduation in Economics (Hons) from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University, and earned his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.
