Vikram Shukla Joins Zydus Lifesciences As President Of Parenteral Operations

The Board of Directors of Zydus Lifesciences Limited has approved the appointment of Vikram Shukla as a President of Parenteral Operations and Senior Management Personnel (SMP), effective January 3, 2025.

Shukla has over 29 years of experience in formulations and APIs, particularly for US and EU requirements related to injectables. Before joining Zydus, he served as Vice President of Operations-Sterile Injectable and Biotech Operations-APAC at Pfizer Inc. He has also worked at companies like Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Lupin, Nicolas Piramal, and Zydus Hospira Oncology JV. He has extensive experience in regulatory audits and managing manufacturing and quality operations. He has worked on optimising resource deployment for operational efficiency. Shukla is a graduate of Microbiology from Nagpur University, where he also completed his postgraduate studies in the same field. He has also completed the INSEAD Integrated Leadership Course.
