Vice President Robert (Rob) Williams To Step Down From Amazon’s Devices & Services Unit

Robert (Rob) Williams, Amazon’s Vice President (VP) of Device Software and Services and a member of the S-team advising Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Andy Jassy, will step down from the company at the end of 2025.

Williams joined Amazon in 2013 and was overseeing operating systems and back-end services across Amazon’s devices, including Fire Tablets, Kindle eReaders, and Echo products. He has played a key role in developing and managing the software and services that support Amazon’s device ecosystem. He contributed to product innovation and integration across multiple platforms within the company. He holds a degree in computer engineering from the University of Waterloo.
