Vedanta’s Independent Director Akhilesh Joshi Retired

Akhilesh Joshi, Independent Director of Vedanta Limited, has completed his second and final term on June 30, 2024.

Joshi started his career with Hindustan Zinc as Unit Head of Rampura Agucha Mines and later served as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive Officer & whole time Director. In 2015–2016, he served as President Global Zinc Business at Vedanta Resources Limited. Presently, he serves as an Independent Director on the boards of Wolkem India, Ferro Alloys Corporation, Hindustan Zinc, and Rajasthan State Mines & Minerals. He completed his diploma from the Paris School of Mines and his bachelor’s degree from MBM Engineering College.
