Uttam Gujrati Set To Succeed Savitha Balachandran As CFO Of Tata Technologies

Uttam Gujrati has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel (CFO & KMP) of Tata Technologies Limited w.e.f. December 31, 2025.

Gujrati will succeed Savitha Balachandran, who will step down as CFO to pursue other career opportunities w.e.f. December 30, 2025.

Gujrati is a finance leader with over 20 years of experience in strategic finance, M&A, pricing, and business transformation across global engineering and technology services. He currently heads global business finance and strategy, driving IPO readiness, pricing governance, digital finance modernisation, and enterprise-wide margin expansion at Tata Technologies. Previously, he held CXO-level roles, including CFO, where he established governance frameworks, led multi-cycle audit readiness, and supported global scale-up and investment preparedness. He has also partnered with engineering businesses on large-deal pricing, financial integration, and strategic programs across regions. Gujrati is known for his data-driven and disciplined approach and serves as a strategic partner to CEOs and boards in financial planning and decision-making.

Balachandran began her career with Tata Motors and has over 20 years of experience across M&A, treasury, capital budgeting, business transformation, and investor relations. She became CFO of Tata Technologies in 2020, leading the finance function, supporting growth, profitability, and cash flow management, and played a key role in the company’s IPO in November 2023. Balachandran holds a bachelor’s degree from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, and a postgraduate diploma in management with a finance specialisation from the Symbiosis Centre for Management and HRD, Pune. She is also a Fulbright-CII Fellow at the Tepper School of Business, Carnegie Mellon University, and a CFA charterholder.
