Uday Khanna Retired As Independent Director Of Kotak Mahindra Bank

Uday Khanna has retired as an Independent Director from the Board of Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited with effect from September 15, 2024, on completion of eight continuous years on the bank’s Board.

Uday Khanna is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). He has held senior leadership roles at Hindustan Unilever (HUL), Lever Brothers, Unilever North America, and the Lafarge Group. He has served as MD & CEO of Lafarge India and as Non-Executive Chairperson of various companies. He has been recognised with prestigious awards, including the ‘L’ordre National du Mérite’ from the President of the Republic of France and the ‘Best Independent Director award. He has also been actively involved in industry associations, serving as President of the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Indo-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
