The MD and CEO of Aptech Anil Pant passed away

Rekha Jhunjhunwala-backed company passed announced the demise of Anil Pant the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer on 15th August 2023. Pant took an indefinite leave on June 19 this year due to failing health, the company said in an exchange filing at the time.

Anil Pant was Aptech’s MD and CEO since 2016. Prior to this Pant was the Principal Consultant at TCS from 2010 to 2016, where he developed a $100 million testing practice. From 2008 to 2010, he was the Vice President of Sify Technologies. He spent over 25 years managing various duties such as Quality, Sales, Marketing, Delivery, and Product Management, culminating in P&L management in the last few jobs.

Before entering the technology sector, he held various positions with firms such as Blow Past, Crompton Greaves, Wipro, and Tally. Pant received a B.E. from B.M.S College of Engineering and a Ph.D. in Information Technology from Malaysia’s Lincoln University College.
