The Board Of ICICI Securities Appoints Non-Independent Director Rakesh Jha As Chairman

The Board of Directors of ICICI Securities Limited has approved the appointment of Rakesh Jha, Non-Executive Non-Independent Director, as the Chairman of the Board of Directors, which will take effect from October 28, 2024, in place of Vinod Kumar Dhall.

The Board of the company noted that Vinod Kumar Dhall, Chairman and Independent Director of the company, will complete his second term on October 27, 2024.

The Board of Directors accepted the resignation of Prasanna Balachander, Non-Executive Non-Independent Director who tendered his resignation from the Board with effect from October 22, 2024.

Rakesh Jha has been a Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director of the company since September 26, 2022. He is an Executive Director of ICICI Bank Ltd. He is the Chairperson of the Board of ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company Ltd. and ICICI Home Finance Company Ltd. and also serves on the Board of ICICI Venture Funds Management Company Ltd. He has been with ICICI since 1996 and has worked in various areas. He was the Group Chief Financial Officer in his previous role. He has a management degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
