Tejas Networks Welcomes Sanjay Malik As EVP Amid BSNL Network Rollout

Former Nokia India head Sanjay Malik has been appointed as EVP – Chief Strategy and Business Officer at Tata’s Tejas Networks with effect from January 23, 2025.

In this new role, Malik will collaborate with Managing Director Anand Athreya and senior management to drive corporate strategy, business management, and engagement with key stakeholders, including government, customers, and partners. Malik has previously worked with Nokia for over two decades in senior roles, most recently as SVP and India Country Head. He has also held positions like Software Developer at Unisys (India) and Business Development Manager at Digital Equipment Corporation (USA). Malik holds a B.Tech. degree in mechanical engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Haryana, and a postgraduate degree in business management from the Indian Institute of Management, Mumbai.
