Tata Digital is revamping its executive team and appointing a CEO to lead Cliq

A leadership reorganisation is taking place at Tata Digital, the entity that controls Tata Group’s Super App Neu according to a report in The Economic Times.

Shivcharan Pulugurtha, Tata Neu’s chief strategy and business officer, has departed just a year after arriving, while the company has engaged Gopal Asthana as CEO of its fashion division Tata Cliq. Asthana, who previously served as the chief business officer of Nykaa Fashion, assumes the position vacated by Vikas Purohit, who departed earlier this year to join Meta.

Pulugurtha was researching strategy and planning at Tata Neu. For the time being, those tasks are likely to be shared by executives such as Bhanu Pathak and Shoumyan Biswas, according to the sources quoted above.

Other top executives’ responsibilities inside the business are expected to be reshuffled as the corporate leadership looks to streamline these functions in order to keep expanding operations after two years of operation.
