Tapas Gangopadhyay Retires As Director Of Sales & Marketing At Usha Martin Group

Tapas Gangopadhyay, who served as Director of Sales & Marketing at Usha Martin Group, has retired from his role effective April 30, 2025. Consequently, he has also stepped down from his position as a Non–Executive Director of Usha Martin Limited.

Gangopadhyay has over four decades of experience across functions such as sales, marketing, business development, project management, supply chain, and product design. He began his career with Usha Martin Group as All-India Sales Head, contributing to the company’s growth in the domestic market. He later led the expansion of Usha Martin’s operations across Southeast Asia and the Pacific, including countries like Australia, China, Singapore, and Vietnam. Before his retirement, he oversaw the company’s international operations, focusing on revenue and growth. Prior to Usha Martin, he worked with Comau Spa (Fiat Group), BOC India Limited, and Fouress Engineering India in various industrial leadership roles. Gangopadhyay holds a B.Tech. in mechanical engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), India.
