The Cabinet has approved the Digital Personal Data Bill
The Union Cabinet passed the Digital Personal Data Protection Bill (DPDP) on Wednesday, clearing the way for firms to disclose data breaches voluntarily while also creating an alternative dispute resolution mechanism.
MCA and Meity demarcate regulatory functions for controlling digital companies
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) announced on 4th July that it will investigate digital market competition issues, whereas the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Meity) will be dealing with sector-specific and technical difficulties.
