T.P. Ostwal & Venkatesh Mysore have stepped down as Independent Directors of Oberoi Realty

T.P. Ostwal and Venkatesh Mysore have vacated the offices of Independent Directors of Oberoi Realty Limited w.e.f. August 26, 2024, on account of mandatory retirement upon them completing the second term of five consecutive years.

T.P. Ostwal has served as an Independent Director of the company since December 2007. A Chartered Accountant with a distinguished career, he has been practicing since 1978 and is a Senior Partner at T. P. Ostwal & Associates LLP and DTS & Associates LLP. He contributed to the establishment of Transfer Pricing Regulations in India as part of an advisory group set up by the Central Board of Direct Taxes, Ministry of Finance. Since 2012, he has been a member of the United Nations subcommittee on transfer pricing for developing countries. He teaches International Tax at Vienna University for LLM studies and has been ranked 11th among the world’s top 50 tax professionals by a UK Business Magazine. He also holds Independent Directorship positions on the Boards of Polycab India Ltd., Mankind Pharma Ltd., Intas Pharmaceuticals Ltd., and others.

Venkatesh Mysore has over 20 years of diverse experience. His expertise in launching and expanding businesses in international markets, including the US, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and India, contributed to driving growth and success for Oberoi Realty. He has served on the boards of FICCI, CII, IMC, the American Chamber of Commerce, the Indo-Canadian Chamber, and several committees established by IRDA. Currently, he is the CEO and MD of Knight Riders Sports Private Limited (Kolkata Knight Riders).
