Swati Datye Appointed as Independent Director at Suryoday Small Finance Bank

The Board of Directors of Suryoday Small Finance Bank Limited has approved the appointment of Swati Datye as an Additional Director (Independent) on the Board with effect from February 1, 2024, for five years. Subject to the approval of shareholders.

Swati Datye has over 37 years of experience in the field of HR across organisations like Indian Hotels, ICICI Bank, First Data, and RBL Bank. She was with RBL Bank as Executive Vice President and Head of Employee Experience, Talent Acquisition & Management, Diversity & Inclusion. In all her assignments, she has built the POSH framework and has been on the Internal Complaints Committee. During her 6-year tenure with First Data (now Fiserv), she was instrumental in setting up all the HR policies and processes for the India team, single-handedly managed the migration of over 250 staff from ICICI Bank to First Data, was part of the Global Talent Management team, helped conceptualise and set up the captive Operations Centre and then the Technology Centre for First Data in India. Her last assignment at First Data was Head HR, APAC, where she also led Talent Management for the APAC region. She has spent 21 years at ICICI Bank. She started her career with Indian Hotels (Taj Group) fresh off campus and led the HR function at the Taj Air Caterers for 3 years. She pursued her BA (Economics) from D. G. Ruparel College, Mumbai University, and then her MBA in HR from NMIMS.
