Sutapa Banerjee & Kaustubh S. Kulkarni Join JSW Dulux’s Board As Directors
Sutapa Banerjee and Kaustubh Sudhakar Kulkarni have been appointed as Woman Independent Director and Non-Executive Non-Independent Director, respectively, at JSW Dulux Limited (formerly Akzo Nobel India Limited), w.e.f. March 23, 2026, subject to approval of the shareholders.
As CEO of Ambit Private Wealth, Banerjee led the business during its recognition in industry rankings. She currently serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of Godrej Properties, Polycab India, JSW Cement, Axis Capital, ideaForge Technology, and CarDekho. She has also been associated with Oxfam and Women’s World Banking. She has over three decades of experience across financial services and investment banking. She spent 24 years with multinational banks, including ANZ Grindlays and ABN AMRO, and later worked with Ambit. She is an Advanced Leadership Fellow from Harvard University and holds degrees in economics from Xavier School of Management and Presidency College, Kolkata.
Kulkarni is Group Head of Banking, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and Strategic Financing at JSW Steel Ltd. He joined the JSW Group in November 2017. Before this, he served as Managing Director (MD) of Debt Capital Markets at Standard Chartered Bank in India. He has also worked with ICICI Securities and SICOM. He oversees banking relationships across the group and leads mergers and acquisitions as well as financing activities. He has 29 years of experience in debt capital markets, financing, and M&A. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an MMS in Finance from the University of Mumbai and is a Chartered Financial Analyst from ICFAI, India.
