Suryoday Small Finance’s Chairman Ramachandran Rajaraman Has Retired

Ramachandran Rajaraman, the Non-Executive Independent Director and Part-time Chairman of the Suryoday Small Finance Bank Limited retired on September 23, 2023, on completion of his second term of Office.

Rajaraman has worked in Commercial Banking and Financial institutions for over 38 years. He was a Director at the Deposit Insurance and Credit Guarantee Corporation, and a member of the Advisory Board on Banks and Financial Frauds. He held senior positions at banks like Andhra Bank, Syndicate Bank, and Indian Bank. Currently, he’s a consultant and advisor for the World Bank Group’s India Investment Vehicle Project. He holds a Master’s degree in Science and a diploma in Financial Management from the University of Madras.
