Supriya Lifescience Welcomes Dr. Ganapati D. Yadav & Dr. Sunil S. Bhagwat As Independent Directors

Dr. Ganapati Dadasaheb Yadav and Dr. Sunil Subhash Bhagwat have been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Directors (Additional Directors) of Supriya Lifescience Limited with effect from January 24, 2025.

Shweta Shivdhari Singh has tendered her resignation from the post of Company Secretary, Compliance Officer, and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the company to pursue a new career opportunity with effect from January 29, 2025.

Dr. Yadav is the National Science Chair (SERB/DST/GOI) and Emeritus Professor of Eminence. A former Vice Chancellor of the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai, he specialises in Green Chemistry, Catalysis, Energy Engineering, and Biotechnology. He has received over 150 awards, including the Padma Shri in 2016, and is a Fellow of the US National Academy of Engineering and the National Academy of Inventors. He serves on the Boards of leading companies and as an adjunct professor globally. He continues to guide doctoral students, secure patents, and contribute to clean technology development and industry-sponsored research.

Dr. Bhagwat is the Director of IISER Pune and holds a Master’s and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. Previously a professor at ICT Mumbai, his expertise includes Interfacial Science, Neural Networks, and Energy Engineering. A Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering, he has received honours like the INSA Teacher Award and K.V. Mariwala Award for Industry-Academia Interactions. He has served as Chairman of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers and actively consults for the chemical industry, engaging with diverse organisations on research and process development.
