Steve Plavin, Susan Daimler & Timothy Wennes Join Cushman & Wakefield Board; Brett White Retires

Cushman & Wakefield announced that Steve Plavin, retiring from Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies, will assume the role of Non-Executive Chairman effective October 1, 2025.

Susan Daimler, former President of Zillow, and Timothy Wennes, former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Santander US, will join the Board as Independent Directors effective August 1, 2025.

Brett White will retire from the Board of Directors after over ten years, though he will remain as a strategic consultant until February 2026.

Plavin previously served as CEO of Blackstone Mortgage Trust, Inc., CEO of Capital Trust, Inc., and Global Co-Head of Commercial Real Estate Finance at Chase Bank. He holds degrees from Tufts University and Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Daimler previously served as President of Zillow, overseeing major business units with USD 1.5 billion in annual revenue. Daimler co-founded Buyfolio and SeatGuru, both of which were acquired. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Johns Hopkins University and serves on the Boards of PubMatic and Johns Hopkins University.

Wennes has led Santander’s U.S. portfolio, including commercial real estate and digital banking. His tenure included the privatisation of Santander Consumer USA and a joint venture with the FDIC. He previously held senior roles at MUFG Union Bank, Countrywide Bank, and Wells Fargo. Wennes holds degrees from the University of Southern California and California State University, Fullerton.
