Solara Active Pharma Sciences Appoints Arun Baskaran as CFO

The Board of Solara Active Pharma Sciences Limited approved the appointment of Arun Kumar Baskaran as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and designated him as Key Managerial Personnel with effect from March 8, 2024.

Arun Kumar Baskaran is currently working as Vice President (Strategy) at Solara, leading the business finance and strategy functions. Baskaran has been with the organisation for more than 10 years. In his 18+ years of professional career, he has handled budgeting, forecasting, MIS preparation, M&A, financial modelling, fund raising, setting up new projects, capex appraisal, cost optimisation, etc. for Solara. He has implemented various renewable energy programmes at Solara as part of its sustainability targets. Previously, he was working with Deloitte and ITCOT Consultancy Services, handling consulting assignments in the areas of investment banking, valuation, sick unit revival, feasibility studies, market studies, etc. across sectors. He is a mechanical engineering graduate from Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi, and has completed a Master’s in Business Administration with a specialisation in finance from ICFAI Business School (Hyderabad).
