Sivaraman Narayanaswami appointed as Additional Non-Executive Independent Director at Allcargo

Allcargo has announced the appointment of Sivaraman Narayanaswami as an Additional Non-Executive Independent Director for a term of 3 years starting from May 04, 2023. Sivaraman is a seasoned business leader with close to 40 years of experience as a finance professional and organisational/business leader. He is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Commerce degree from St. Joseph’s College in Tiruchi.

Throughout his career, Sivaraman has proven his expertise in various areas, including strategy, business planning, organisation building, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations. He was previously the Managing Director and Group CEO at ICRA Limited, where he established infrastructure project finance platforms through 5E Finance Holdings Private Limited (5EF). Sivaraman also held senior positions at L&T Finance Holdings Ltd. and IL&FS, where he was responsible for transforming and growing the companies.

At L&T Finance Holdings Ltd., he led the company’s growth from 2006 to 2016 and played a key role in the demerger of L&T’s cement business. At IL&FS, he was responsible for asset monetization, creditor engagement, and loan restructuring. Sivaraman’s initiatives at IL&FS included setting up an Infrastructure Investment Trust comprising all the road assets of the company, which is expected to enhance the overall value realised by the creditors.
