Shyam Powar Steps Down As Independent Director Of Himatsingka Seide

Shyam Powar has resigned as a Non-Executive Independent Director of Himatsingka Seide Limited with effect from January 24, 2025, on account of restrictions arising from new assignments undertaken by him.

Powar is the Founder of Allegro Advisors, an investment bank offering financial advisory services to Indian corporates, financial institutions, family offices, and professionals. He has over 28 years of experience in corporate functions, having held roles in multinational organisations, including Director of Corporate Finance at Arthur Andersen and Larsen & Toubro. His areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, debt restructuring and takeouts, private equity, and IPO advisory.
