Shoppers Stop’s Independent Director Manish Chokhani Retires

Manish Chokhani ceased to be an Independent Director of Shoppers Stop on the completion of his second tenure, effective from the close of business hours on July 30, 2024.

Chokhani is one of the pioneers in the field of equity investing in India. He has been a Director of Enam Holdings Pvt. Ltd., the family office of the partners of Enam Group, since November 2013. He continues to serve as an Independent Director of Welspun Corp. Ltd., Landmark Cars Ltd., and Auxilio Finserve Pvt. Ltd. He has also been a Non-Executive Director of Laxmi Organic Industries Ltd.

He has been a member of the governing board of the Flame University since July 2015. Flame is one of the leading liberal arts universities in India.
