Sheela Foam Ltd appoints Amit Gupta as CFO & Nilesh Mazumdar as CEO

Amit Kumar Gupta has been appointed as the Group Chief Financial Officer (Group-CFO) of Sheela Foam Limited, effective from May 17th, 2023. Aged around 50, Gupta holds a PGDM in Finance from SGRRITS, Dehradun, and an LLB in Mercantile Law from HNB Garhwal University. With approximately 25 years of diverse experience in both domestic and international markets, Gupta has worked with prominent organisations such as Samvardhana Motherson Group, where he served as Vice President (Strategy and M&A). He has also held positions in companies like Focus Energy Ltd, Ballarpur Industries Ltd, HT Media Ltd, and Amar Ujala Publications Ltd.

Nilesh Sevabrata Mazumdar has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer-India Business at Sheela Foam Limited, replacing Mr. Tushaar Gautam, effective from May 17th, 2023. Mazumdar, aged about 55, completed his BE in Electronics from the University of Poona, an MBA in Marketing from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, and a Diploma in Business Finance from ICFAI. With a strong and diverse leadership background spanning over three decades, Mazumdar has held key positions in notable organisations such as Forbes Marshall Limited, Asian Paints, MIRC Electronics Limited (Onida), Pidilite Industries Ltd, and Subhiksha Industries Limited.
