Shalimar Paints’ MD Ashok Kumar Gupta has Resigned

Ashok Kumar Gupta tendered his resignation from the post of Managing Director (MD) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of Shalimar Paints Limited on July 2, 2024.

Gupta has managed Shalimar’s overall operations while developing successful growth strategies. Gupta is a seasoned industry professional with over three decades of leadership experience at notable organisations such as SAIL, Jindal Industries, Surya Roshni, and Arcelor Mittal. At Jindal Stainless, he played a crucial role in turning the company from a loss-making unit into a profitable enterprise. He further showcased his expertise as the Managing Director of APL Apollo Tubes Limited. He joined Shalimar Paints in June 2018. He holds a Master’s degree in Physics, and he is a PGDBA.
