senior executive of IndiGo Mahesh Kumar Malik resigns

Mahesh Kumar Malik has resigned from IndiGo as Chief Commercial Officer for domestic cargo with effect from November 1, due to personal reasons. According to a regulatory filing, The company had already informed the stock exchanges about the resignation on Wednesday.

Mahesh Kumar Malik has almost 50 years of experience in the aviation industry, where he handled various aspects of cargo sales, operations, and business growth. He also served global customers. Before Indigo, his last job was as Director, CEO, and President at AVIAPRO Logistic Services Private Limited, leading the Cargo GSSA of Vistara. Before AVIAPRO, he was the Vice President of Cargo at InterGlobe Air Transport (IGAT), where he managed sales and operations for airlines represented by IGAT as their Cargo GSSA. While at IGAT, he also played a role in launching IndiGo CarGo.
