SBI Life’s Dy CEO Srinivasan to lead SBI DFHI Limited as MD & CEO

SBI Life Insurance Company Limited’s Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Dy. CEO), Veeraraghavan Srinivasan, is being posted as Managing Director and CEO of SBI DFHI Limited. The decision is taken by the parent State Bank of India. SBI DFHI is one of the major players in the government securities market, functioning as a primary dealer.

A relinquishment letter dated May 22, 2024, has been received from Srinivasan, and accordingly, he will be relieved from his duties as Dy CEO with effect from May 24, 2024.

Srinivasan is a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist from ACAMS. Srinivasan has over 30 years of experience and has held numerous senior management positions in the banking sector, both across India and internationally. He earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce from the University of Mumbai and a postgraduate diploma in business administration (PGDBA) from the Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning.
