Satyaki Ghosh Succeeds Omprakash Chitlange As CEO of Cellulosic Fashion Yarn Business of Grasim

Satyaki Ghosh, who is currently CEO of Domestic Textiles, will be taking over as CEO of Cellulosic Fashion Yarn Business of Grasim Industries Limited with effect from 28th January 2025. He succeeded Omprakash Chitlange, who will relinquish his position on 27 January 2025.

Satyaki Ghosh has been working with the Aditya Birla Group since 2016. Throughout his tenure with the group, he has led the domestic textiles and Thai acrylic fibre businesses. Previously, he worked at L’Oreal India Private Limited, Spencer’s Retail Limited, and PepsiCo, Inc. Satyaki has overseen efforts in the domestic textiles industry, such as the development of e-commerce and direct-to-consumer enterprises, the expansion of Linen Club Studio, and the ‘Wealth out of Waste’ project. His experience includes both B2C and B2B organisations from various geographies. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics and an MBA from IISWBM, University of Calcutta.
