Sanjiv Bajaj Reappointed As Non-Executive Director Of Maharashtra Scooters
Maharashtra Scooters Limited reappointed Sanjiv Bajaj as Non-Executive Director, not liable to retire by rotation, beyond 19 July 2025, subject to approval by shareholders.
Mangesh Deshpande has been appointed as the Compliance Officer of the company with effect from April 24, 2025. He succeeds Sriram Subbramaniam, who steps down from the same position with effect from April 23, 2025.
Bajaj is currently serving as the Chairman of Maharashtra Scooters and Managing Director & CEO of Bajaj Holdings & Investment Limited. He serves on the Boards of ISB, Allianz SE, MAS, and the World Economic Forum. He also leads Bajaj Finserv Limited as its Chairman and Managing Director, overseeing Bajaj Group’s financial services businesses. He chairs Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Housing Finance, Bajaj Finserv AMC, and both Bajaj Allianz insurance companies. He served as President of CII in 2022–23 and was part of India’s B20 Steering Committee. He graduated from Harvard Business School and has degrees from the University of Warwick and Pune.
Deshpande is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. He holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) University.
