Sanghamitra Mishra And Rajendra S. Shekhawat Conclude Their Term As Independent Directors Of Bharat Dynamics

Prof. (Dr.) Sanghamitra Mishra and Rajendra Singh Shekhawat retired as Non-Official Independent Director of Bharat Dynamics Limited with effect from December 27 and 28, 2024, respectively.

Shekhawat retired as Additional Superintendent of Police (Rajasthan Police). He worked as Assistant Commissioner of Police and Additional SP Anti-Corruption Bureau in the Rajasthan Police. He has received the President Police Medal, the highest award of the police department for distinguished service awarded by former President APJ Abdul Kalam. He is a graduate of B.Sc. and LLB.

Prof. (Dr.) Mishra serves as the Dean of the Super Speciality DM/MCH Program and the Head of the Department of Critical Care Medicine at the Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital, Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan University, a deemed university under Section 3 of the UGC Act 1956. Her qualifications include an Indian Diploma in Critical Care Medicine and Fellowship from the Indian College of Critical Care Medicine, a Fellowship in Cardiac Anaesthesia from Narayana Hrudayalaya, Bengaluru, and a Certificate in Research Methodology from the Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar. She has also completed a fellowship in 2D echocardiography from Medvarsity and a curriculum design course from NIHFW, New Delhi, in addition to her M.D. in anaesthesiology.
