Safroadu Yeboah-Amankwah To Step Down As Intel Strategy Chief

Safroadu “Saf” Yeboah-Amankwah, Intel’s chief strategy officer since 2020, will depart the company on June 30, according to Reuters, which cited two people familiar with the matter.

Saf is the Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) at Intel Corporation. He leads Intel’s Global Strategy Office, which includes oversight of Intel Capital, and collaborates, with the executive team to shape and implement growth strategies across the company. Before joining Intel, Yeboah-Amankwah spent over 26 years at McKinsey & Company. He most recently served as a Senior Partner and global head of the Transformation Practice for the Telecom, Media, and Technology (TMT) sector. He also led Client Capabilities for the TMT practice globally and held leadership roles in Africa, including as Managing Partner for South Africa. Saf holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is a former board member of the United Negro College Fund.
