Sachin Suryakant Rane Steps Down As Chief Of Internal Vigilance Of HDFC Bank

Sachin Suryakant Rane has resigned as the Chief of Internal Vigilance of HDFC Bank Limited, effective September 1, 2025.

Rane brings over three decades of expertise in fraud management, financial crime investigation, and security operations. He has extensive experience in handling security infrastructure and criminal investigations at both national and international levels. Before moving to the banking sector, he served as Senior Inspector of Police and Officer-in-Charge of the Legal Cell at the Airport (Immigration) Department, where he dealt with complex legal and security matters. He joined HDFC Bank on March 20, 2023, as Deputy Chief Internal Vigilance Officer (CIV), contributing his investigative and compliance skills. He is a graduate of the Maharashtra Police Academy and the University of Mumbai.
