S. Durgashankar Appointed Independent Director of Seshasayee Paper

The Board of Directors of Seshasayee Paper and Boards Limited have approved the appointment of S. Durgashankar as an Additional Director and Non-Executive Independent Director of the company for a period of 5 years with effect from November 4, 2023. Subject to the approval of the shareholders.

He is a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years experience in finance and has handled roles like CFO, Group Financial Controller, Head of M&A, Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Accounts, Corporate Finance, Investor Relations, and Secretarial functions in leading listed companies. Durgashankar is currently the Chairman of Mahindra Integrated Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (MIBS), part of the USD 20 billion Mahindra Group. After superannuating from Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (M&M), in addition to his current role at MIBS, he is also currently overseeing the financial function of the Aerospace, Defense and Agri businesses of M&M Group as Sector Chief Financial Officer.
