S.B. Dangayach completed his term as Independent Director of Gujarat Alkalies

S.B. Dangayach has completed his five-year term as an Independent Director of Gujarat Alkalies & Chemicals Limited on August 8, 2024.

Dangayach, an IIM Ahmedabad alumnus, is the founder and trustee of the innovative thought forum “Think+Act,” = Tank. Currently, he serves on the Board of Governors for IIM Udaipur and Auro University in Surat. He is also an Independent Director on the Boards of Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd. (GMDC) and Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd. (GIPCL). Earlier in his career, he held numerous significant positions, including a member of the Advisory Committee for the Vibrant Gujarat Summit and Chairman of the National Advisory Board of the Plastindia Foundation.He has also participated in several foreign delegations on behalf of the Government of India and the Government of Gujarat. He conceptualised and led a popular lecture series at the Ahmedabad Management Association (AMA) titled “New Paradigm in Health: Illness to Wellness and Beyond.” He was honoured with the ‘Best Manager’ award by the Ahmedabad Management Association, and he is featured as the only “intrapreneur” in Rashmi Bansal’s bestselling book “Stay Hungry Stay Foolish.”
