Rukmani Krishnamurthy Appointed Independent Women Director Of Capacite Infraprojects

The Board of Directors of Capacite Infraprojects Limited has appointed Dr. Rukmani Krishnamurthy as an additional Independent Woman Director of the company. Her appointment is effective December 12, 2023, for a period of 5 years. Subject to the approval of shareholders. Meanwhile, Sumeet Singh Nindrajog has resigned from the position of Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director with effect from December 11, 2023. Due to other professional preoccupations.

Dr. Rukmani Krishnamurthy is the Chairperson and CEO of Helik Advisory and is the first prominent female forensic scientist in India. She entered the field in 1974, when many people didn’t understand the importance of forensics. She rose to a top global position in the field. As the Director of Forensic Science Laboratories, she established world-class labs and introduced advanced techniques like DNA analysis, cyber forensics, speaker identification, and more. She received numerous awards and chaired sessions at international forensic conferences.

During her tenure as technical adviser to the Institute of Forensic Science, she established three forensic science institutes. She has authored books on forensic science, written articles, and organised national forensic conferences. Her dream of bringing forensic services to the public materialised with the launch of Helik Advisory Ltd. in 2011, equipped with a state-of-the-art laboratory. The organisation is the first private Indian entity with ISO certification in forensic and allied services. She is an Academic Council Member of the National Forensic Science University, guiding Ph.D. students and actively contributing to academic and innovative developments in forensic science. As a senior forensic scientist, she regularly interacts with senior judges, providing forensic insights into important legal matters.
