Rukhshana Jina Mistry Appointed As Independent Woman Director Of Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation
Rukhshana Jina Mistry has been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Woman Director (Additional Director) of Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation Limited, with effect from August 26, 2025, subject to the approval of the shareholders.
Mistry is a Chartered Accountant with over 32 years of professional experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, and company law. She currently serves as an Independent Director on the Boards of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd., Allied Blenders & Distillers Ltd., and Afcons Infrastructure Ltd., along with holding directorships in several foreign subsidiaries of the Sterling and Wilson group. She is actively engaged in governance, serving as Chairperson and Member across Audit, Nomination and Remuneration, Stakeholder Relationship, and Risk Management Committees of listed entities. Mistry holds a B.Com degree from Bombay University and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA), having completed her articleship with M/s Kalyaniwalla & Mistry.
