Rohit Khattar & Sanjeev Aga Have Retired as Independent Directors of Mahindra Holidays

Rohit Khattar and Sanjeev Aga, Independent Directors of Mahindra Holidays & Resorts India Limited, have completed their two terms of five years each on August 26, 2024.

Rohit Khattar is the Founder and Chairman of Old World Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. He also serves as the Founder and Chairman of Cinestaan Film Company and Chairman of Mumbai Mantra Media Ltd. With over 33 years of experience in the hospitality industry, he has been recognised among ‘The Big 10 of the F&B industry’ and ‘the 99 superstars who changed our lives (across India)’ by TimeOut in 2013. He has also been honoured with the ‘IFCA Award of Excellence’ by the Indian Federation of Culinary Associations. He is a graduate of the School of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management at Michigan State University, U.S.A.

Sanjeev Aga is former MD at Aditya Birla Nuvo and Managing Director of Idea Cellular. He is an alumnus of Scindia School, Gwalior, holds a degree in Physics Honours from St Stephen’s College, Delhi, and a postgraduate degree from IIM Kolkata. His early career included roles in field sales and marketing at Asian Paints, followed by leadership positions at Blow Plast, now VIP Industries, where he headed the Furniture and Leo-Mattel Toys businesses before becoming MD. During his tenure, Idea Cellular received the ET Award for The Emerging Company of the Year in 2009. Aga was also named CEO of the Year by Indira Innovation in 2009 and was recognised by Tele.Net in 2010. Forbes Magazine shortlisted him among 20 Indians for Person of the Year in 2010. The Scindia School honoured him with the Madhav Award in 2014 for Old Boy of Eminence. He currently serves in advisory and board roles for various corporates and non-profits.
