
Rima Gupta Joins LT Foods As Independent Director; Ashok K. Arora Appointed As Whole-Time Director
Rima Gupta has been appointed as an Independent Director of LT Foods Limited, and Ashok Kumar Arora has been appointed as Whole-Time Director, effective April 8, 2026.
Abhiram Seth and Ambika Sharma have been reappointed as Independent Directors of the company, effective July 22, 2026.
Gupta has worked with organisations including Nestle, ITC Ltd., Tata Motors, Unilever, Dabur, Godrej Group, and Aditya Birla Group. She is the Founder of Open Doors Consult. She has held leadership roles at Kantar Consulting, Solutions Digitas, Deloitte, and Procter & Gamble. She is a marketing and brand strategy professional with nearly 40 years of experience, including 26 years in strategic marketing consulting across sectors such as FMCG, IT, hospitality, automobiles, and education. Her areas of work include brand building, design thinking, and marketing capability development. She is an alumna of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Calcutta and Lady Shri Ram College. Gupta also serves as a visiting faculty member and is a certified leadership facilitator.
Arora is an operations professional with experience across multiple business functions. He has been associated with the LT Group since its inception. He currently serves as President of Punjab Operations at LT Foods and is a Director on the Board of Daawat Foods, a wholly owned subsidiary of LT Foods. Arora has experience in FMCG business operations and product sourcing strategy development. His work includes managing external partner relationships, joint business planning, and engagement with retailers and stakeholders. He has been involved in value creation initiatives and operational processes across developed and emerging markets. His experience covers the coordination of supply chains, sourcing frameworks, and business planning aligned with organisational objectives.
Seth is the founder of Aquagri, an enterprise focused on promoting aqua agriculture through self-help groups. Seth served as Executive Director of Exports and External Affairs at PepsiCo India until March 2008. From 1993 onwards, he led the company’s exports and agricultural development initiatives in India. He has served as Chairman of the Water Committee at FICCI and the Food Regulatory Committee at CII. He was also President of the Confederation of Indian Food Trade and Industry. He has been associated with foreign trade and agriculture, and food processing policy initiatives. Seth is a graduate in Economics from Delhi University and holds a master’s in management studies with a marketing specialisation from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute, Mumbai University.
Sharma serves as Managing Director (India) at the U.S.-India Business Council. She was previously Director General of International at FICCI. She has over 30 years of experience in international trade and economic relations, foreign trade policy, and bilateral and regional engagements. Sharma has been a Member of the Executive Council of the Bureau of Indian Standards. She is associated with the FICCI Women on Corporate Boards initiative. She is an IICA Certified Independent Director and serves on the boards of several companies. Sharma holds a degree in Business Economics from Delhi University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a gold medal. She has completed executive leadership training through EU executive programmes and senior leadership programmes at XLRI, Jamshedpur.
