RIL Shareholders Approve Haigreve Khaitan As Independent Director
Reliance Industries Limited has informed the exchanges that the company’s shareholders have approved the appointment and reappointments of three Directors through a postal ballot that ended on June 20.
According to the resolutions passed through e-voting, Haigreve Khaitan has been confirmed as an Independent Director for five years, up to March 31, 2029. His Excellency Yasir Othman H. Al Rumayyan has been reappointed as an Independent Director of the company for a second term of five years, up to July 18, 2029. Members have also confirmed the reappointment of P.M.S. Prasad as a Whole-time Director designated as an Executive Director, for five years, from the expiry of his present term of office, i.e., with effect from August 21, 2024.
