Raymond Lifestyle Shareholders Elect Gautam Hari Singhania As Executive Chairman

Gautam Hari Singhania has been elected as the Executive Chairman of Raymond Lifestyle after receiving shareholder approval.

The resolution was passed with the requisite majority in accordance with the Companies Act, 2013. Shareholders also approved the appointment of Sunil Kataria as Managing Director and endorsed eight special resolutions, including the selection of Independent Directors.

This development follows Raymond Lifestyle’s recent listing on stock exchanges after its demerger from Raymond Ltd. Despite proxy advisory firms raising concerns over remuneration policies and governance, advising against Singhania’s appointment. The company stated that the outcome underscores shareholder confidence and a shared commitment to driving growth.
