Ravinder Takkar, Sunil Sood, and Thomas Reisten Resign From Indus Towers As Non-Independent Directors

Ravinder Takkar, Sunil Sood, and Thomas Reisten, Non-Executive Non-Independent Directors of Indus Towers Limited have tendered their resignations with effect from November 18, 2024. The development follows the cessation of the Board Appointment Rights of the Vodafone.

Takkar has professional experience of 25+ years across cultures and geographies, building a strong track record in the field of business strategy, business planning, and development in the ICT sector. He is also the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vodafone Idea Limited. Before taking his role as MD and CEO, Ravinder was the Chairman of Vodafone Group Services & Regional Business Development (Africa, Middle East & Asia Pacific) based out of New Delhi. He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles.

Sood is serving as the Director of Vodafone Idea Limited India. Previously he has held positions like President at Harvard Business School Club of India; Director at Vodacom Group; and Group Commercial Director (Africa, ME, Asia, Pacific) at Vodafone Group Services Limited. Sood holds a B.Tech. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and an MBA (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
