Ravi Kapoor Appointed Independent Director at Hikal

The Board of Directors of Hikal Limited has approved the appointment of Ravi Brijmohan Kapoor as an Additional Director in the category of Independent Directors for a term of five years, with effect from January 11, 2024. Subject to the approval of shareholders of the company.

Kapoor is the Promoter Director of Heubach Colour Private Limited (HCPL), the company he established in 1994. After initially serving as the Joint Managing Director since 1996, Kapoor assumed the role of Managing Director in 2001. Over the past 25 years, he has been responsible for steering the company. Additionally, he is the Chairman of Heubach Colorant India Limited. Holding key positions in various organisations, he has been a Board Member at Narmada Clean Tech since 2008, Chairman of the Indian Chemical Council (ICC), Gujarat Chapter since 2010, and currently serves as Chairman of the Indian Chemical Council’s Sustainability and Responsible Care Expert Committee. He has received various awards, including the Top Export Performer Award in 2003, the ICC Environmental Award for Solid Waste Reduction, received from the Governor of Maharashtra in 2008, and the ICC Aditya Birla Award for Best Responsible Care Committed Company in 2016 and 2017. He graduated from the University of Mumbai.
