Ramkrishna Forgings Reappoints Chaitanya Jalan as Whole Time Director

On July 24, 2024, the Board of Directors of Ramkrishna Forgings Limited approved the reappointment of Chaitanya Jalan as whole-time Director for five years, with effect from November 9, 2024, until November 8, 2029. Subject to the approval of the shareholders.

Further, the Board noted that Amitabha Guha shall cease to be an Independent Director of the company with effect from August 14, 2024, on account of the completion of the 2nd term of 5 years.

Chaitanya Jalan is an integral part of the management team and is also responsible for monitoring the day-to-day operations at the plants of the company. He is also responsible for spearheading the marketing efforts of the company both in the domestic and export markets and overseeing the implementation of the capital expenditure and expansion of the company’s project(s). He is a commerce graduate from the prestigious St. Xaviers College, Kolkata.
