Rakesh Kumar Appointed as Deputy CFO of OYO

Rakesh Kumar has been appointed as Deputy Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of OYO, as reported by an agency. Previously, Kumar was in charge of controllership.

According to the corporation, his promotion to Deputy CFO represents a considerable increase in his responsibilities, which now include business finance and taxation.

In his enhanced role, Rakesh will be responsible for overseeing critical operational finance functions, including Treasury, Controllership, Shared Services, Business Finance, Taxation, Financial Planning & Analysis, Compliance, and Audits across the organisation. He will continue to report to OYO’s CFO, Abhishek Gupta.

He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and has held positions as a Director at EY, Director of Finance at Zomato, and audit senior at Moore Stephens.
