Rajiv Jalota & Sriram Hariharan Join Supreme Industries As Independent Directors

Rajiv Jalota and Sriram Hariharan have been appointed as Non-Executive Independent Directors (Additional Directors) of Supreme Industries Limited w.e.f. September 13, 2025, subject to shareholders’ approval through the postal ballot process.

Rajeev Mahendra Pandia and Ramanathan Kannan have ceased to be Independent Directors of the company, effective September 15, 2025.

Jalota, a former IAS officer with over 35 years of service, has led reforms in governance, infrastructure, maritime affairs, taxation, public finance, and urban affairs. As Chairman of Mumbai Port Authority and the Indian Ports Association, he represented India at global forums, including QUAD, chaired MACN, and initiated the Cruise Bharat Mission, CoE on ESG and Circularity, and CMEC. He also served as Director General of Shipping. As GST Commissioner, Maharashtra, he oversaw India’s largest indirect tax reform, earning the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Public Administration (2017). Jalota is a Rotary World Peace Fellow, and he holds advanced degrees from Duke University and Lucknow University and is pursuing a Ph.D. in Sustainability.

Hariharan brings nearly 30 years of experience in financial services, with over two decades in international banking, corporate governance, and strategic growth. He played a key role in expanding ICICI Bank’s global presence, serving as President & CEO of ICICI Bank Canada for over a decade and later as Chairman of ICICI Bank’s Canada and UK subsidiaries. Recognised with honours such as Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 (2008) and the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal (2012), he has also served on the Boards of several Canadian institutions. Currently, he is on the Board of Home First Finance Company India Ltd. and the University of Toronto India Foundation. He holds engineering and management degrees from NIT Prayagraj and IIM Bangalore.
